About

I’ve been an art director, designer and music television creative executive. All three of which pretty much mean the same thing – coming up with ideas and making them look great. I started out studying multimedia and then later a master’s degree in advertising in my hometown of Dublin. This was followed by a spell in advertising at top Irish agencies Brando and Boys & Girls. In between the two I even found time to travel (most of) the world.

Upon moving to London I discovered my dream job working at as the creative executive on BBC Worldwide’s music team where I expanded my skillset far beyond the Adobe Creative Suite.

I love music, the Internet, photography, design, London Underground, Josh Homme, The Killing Joke, Nan Goldin, Jean-Michel Basquiat’s Hip Hop band Gray, facts about Terminator 2, W.B Yates and his love for Maud Gonne, the Eurovision, Kris Jenner, Aaron Spelling, femmes fatales, PJ Harvey, Sinead O’Connor’s 1987 performance of Mandinka, Desmond Carrington, Brutalism, the branding of 20th century totalitarian states, World Cup hosts and winners, world’s fairs, Robert Brownjohn, Trent Reznor Apple, The ABBA Museum, Nu Metal, 90’s RnB, 70’s Love Songs, Trevor Nelson, The Golden Age of Reality TV (2006-2010), Pop World, travel and zoot suits.
